Universal Orlando Resort Accessibility Services

If you are planning a trip to Universal Orlando Resort and may require the use of accessibility services during your visit, there is no need to worry, Universal offers a variety of services that allow guests to have the best possible experience at the theme parks!

Mobility

At Universal Orlando Resort, guests in need of mobility assistance can rent wheelchairs and ECVs either by the day, or for the duration of their stay. Many theme park attractions at Universal have accessible line queues, allowing guests in wheelchairs/ECVs to experience the over the top theming of many of the attraction waiting areas. Accessibility information regarding individual attractions at all three Universal Orlando theme parks is available online.

Cognitive

For guests with varying cognitive abilities, a visit to a Universal Orlando Resort theme park can often be an overwhelming experience. In order to help everyone have the best experience possible, Universal has quiet rooms, where guests can take a break from the excitement of the parks. These quiet rooms are located at the Health Services and Family Care Centers in the theme parks.

Hearing & Vision

At Universal Orlando Resort, guests in need of accessibility services related to vision can access large print or braille maps, as well as scripts for select attractions and entertainment, from Guest Services within the theme park. For those requiring hearing related services, many live shows at Universal Orlando have ASL interpreters. If a live show does not indicate that an ASL interpreter will be present, guests can request interpreters for shows they wish to attend. These requests must be submitted to Universal Orlando by the guest, or their travel advisor, at least two-weeks in advance.

Service Animals

Guests requiring the use of a service animal, are more than welcome to bring them to any of the Universal Orlando Resort theme parks! It should be noted that only registered, trained, service animals are allowed in the parks, comfort or support animals are not permitted. Select hotels at Universal Orlando Resort are also pet-friendly, and have designated rooms and relief animals for animals.

*Please note that this information is not all inclusive, and that additional services may be available upon request. Guests planning to utilize accessibility services at Universal Orlando Resort should consult with their travel advisor or check online for up to date guides and information for specific theme parks and hotels.
