Walt Disney World Water Parks
A visit to either of the two water parks at Walt Disney World Resort is a great addition to any Disney vacation! Both Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach water parks have something for everyone, from relaxing poolside to thrilling water slides!
Tickets & Transportation:
Guests looking to check out either water park at Walt Disney World have several options when it comes to purchasing tickets!
1-Day Water Park Ticket: allows entry to either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach
Park Hopper Plus Ticket: allows entry to multiple theme parks and water parks on the same day
Water Park and Sports Ticket: allows entry to one theme park and one water park on the same day
For guests staying on-property, getting to the water parks has never been easier! Complimentary bus service from your resort hotel, as well as complimentary parking, are available at both water parks!
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon:
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is a fun-filled tropical oasis! Those looking for some thrills should be sure to check out the Crush n’ Gusher, a coaster-like raft ride, or the Miss Adventure Falls white-water raft ride. Guests looking to add even more excitement to their day can schedule a surf lesson at Typhoon Lagoon’s surf pool, the largest wave pool in North America! Younger guests can spend time splashing around at KetchaKiddee Creek, a water playground for small children.
You’ll never go hungry at Typhoon Lagoon with the wide variety of food and beverage options available! Grab some lunch at Leaning Palms, drinks and refreshments from Let’s Go Slurpin’, and sweet treats from Happy Landings Ice Cream!
Looking to add some relaxation to your day at the water park? Private Beachcomber shacks, which include chairs, a shaded covering, and more, can be booked for an additional cost. Umbrellas are also available to be reserved for your day at Typhoon Lagoon!
Disney’s Blizzard Beach:
There is no better place to escape the Florida heat, then at Disney’s Blizzard Beach! Adventure seekers are sure to enjoy the Summit Plummet, a free-fall waterslide, or the Toboggan Racers, an 8-lane waterslide where you can race your friends to the bottom. Blizzard Beach is also home to Tike’s Peak, a polar themed water-play area for kids as well as the relaxing Melt-Away Bay pool!
Blizzard Beach has everything you could ask for when it comes to poolside snacks and frozen treats! Get some grub at Avalunch, LottaWatta Lodge, or grab an ice cold beverage from the Polar Pub. If you’re looking to take a break from the water and relax, Blizzard Beach has both private umbrellas as well as Polar Patios, private shaded decks, available to be reserved for an additional cost!
Whether you choose to soak in the tropical oasis of Typhoon Lagoon, chilling out at Blizzard Beach, or a little bit of both, you can’t go wrong with a visit to a Walt Disney World water park!
